Per ISO 5167-1:2022 principles, balanced flow meters use a project-specific multi-hole pattern to condition the velocity profile while generating a measurable differential pressure. Final geometry is selected against verified process data. The result is lower pressure loss and shorter straight-run requirements than standard orifice plates.
