HOW TO USE THE RESULT
Use the calculator to compare a preliminary bore or geometry, expected differential pressure and permanent pressure loss at the stated operating points. It helps identify whether the proposed transmitter span can produce a useful signal from minimum through maximum flow. The result is not a substitute for a controlled sizing sheet, approved drawing, material review or final uncertainty evaluation.

Check differential pressure and Reynolds number at every operating point, not only at maximum flow. Because DP changes approximately with flow squared, low-flow signal quality often controls practical rangeability.
