ADDITIONAL WEDGE-METER CASES
Applied across metallurgy, chemical processing, coal chemicals, coking and fine-chemical plants, wedge flow meters are well suited to viscous, dirty, solids-bearing and crystallization-prone media. Their open flow path helps reduce blockage risk, while materials, pressure-tapping arrangements and thermal management are engineered for the actual process conditions.
An integrated wedge-meter assembly with accessible root valves and well-organized differential-pressure connections, designed for efficient commissioning, routine inspection and long-term maintenance.
Three separated differential-pressure channels support independent process measurement and safety-interlock inputs. Voting architecture, trip setpoints and the final safety-integrity design remain project-specific.
A flanged wedge primary element installed in an outdoor refinery unit, with paired pressure connections arranged for differential-pressure transmission and maintainable field access.

REFINERY FLARE-GAS CASE
These two field recordings follow sequential stages of an averaging Pitot retrofit on a refinery flare-gas header—from preparation of the online insertion point to the completed measuring assembly.
STEP 1 · ONLINE OPENING
The field recording documents the drilling and hot-tap tooling used to prepare an insertion point on an existing refinery flare-gas header. This work requires an approved site method, permits, gas testing, pressure checks and trained personnel.
STEP 2 · INSTALLED ASSEMBLY
The follow-up walk-through shows the completed insertion averaging Pitot assembly and its access position on the refinery flare-gas header—an application where large line size and low permanent pressure loss are central selection considerations.
